§ 1 Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (Terms) apply to the use of the CT Ranking platform by businesses and their authorized users. Deviating terms of the customer apply only if we expressly agree to them in writing.

§ 2 Subject matter

CT Ranking is a software-as-a-service solution for monitoring the visibility of brands and products in responses of generative AI systems (AI visibility monitoring). This includes in particular the management of benchmark prompts, retrieval of model responses, scoring, competitor comparisons, and evaluation-based recommendations. The concrete scope of services depends on the booked plan or quota.

§ 3 Registration and formation of contract

Use requires registration. Upon completion of registration, a user agreement is formed. For paid plans, the contract becomes effective upon successful payment processing or activation of the plan.

§ 4 Customer obligations

The customer ensures that the brand, prompt, website, and competitor data entered by them may lawfully be processed and transmitted to the connected AI providers. Evaluations and recommendations must be reviewed as decision support before they are used internally or externally. The customer is jointly responsible for compliance with any terms of use of the respective AI providers in connection with their use.

§ 5 Quotas and use

API and model calls are limited by quotas. Unused quotas do not create a claim for payout. Abusive use (e.g. automated attacks, circumvention of quotas) is prohibited.

§ 6 Availability

We strive for high availability of the platform. Maintenance windows, disruptions at third-party providers (in particular AI models), and technical disruptions not attributable to us may temporarily restrict use or delay results.

§ 7 Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for damage arising from injury to life, body, or health. In cases of slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. We give no warranty for the substantive accuracy, completeness, or currency of individual AI responses or scores derived from them.

§ 8 Data protection

Processing of personal data takes place in accordance with our privacy policy.

§ 9 Final provisions

German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Munich if the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law.
